#ShareofVoice: Top 10 companies among EV discussions: Q1 2022

Our latest ‘#ShareofVoice: Top 10 companies among Electric Vehicle (EV) social media discussions’ analysed the leading automotive companies on EV topic across the globe based on the volume of the social media conversations, tracked by GlobalData’s Social Media Platform for the period 1 January – 31 March 2022. Among the top 10 automotive companies, Tesla has emerged as the most mentioned automotive company on EV topic, with more than 50% share of conversations. The company saw big spike in conversations in beginning of the year when it reached record high sales for electric vehicles in fourth quarter beating the sales of previous quarter. Toyota Motor was the next most mentioned company among EV discussions, followed by Porsche AG, Rivian Automotive, General Motors, Hyundai Motor, Nissan Motor, Ford Motor, Honda Motor and Mercedes Benz (former Daimler AG).
