ThreatModeler Software, a US-based platform for threat modelling, has raised $60m in its first institutional financing round from Invictus Growth Partners.
Customers use ThreatModeler’s platform to improve security across all aspects of their development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) processes.
The technology company plans to use the investment to bolster sales, marketing, and product innovation, particularly in artificial intelligence-driven advancements.
The capital injection comes at a time when the DevSecOps market is experiencing rapid growth, with projections indicating an 18% CAGR from $6.1bn in 2023 to $10.1bn by 2027.
ThreatModeler’s platform, including its CloudModeler and IaC-Assist products, provides enterprise development teams with the tools to create and maintain secure applications and cloud infrastructures.
The platform enables users to visualise their attack surfaces, identify and mitigate design flaws, and automatically monitor for threat drift in cloud environments.

CloudModeler allows customers to design secure systems from the outset and detect discrepancies between live infrastructure and its intended design.
The product is said to be capable of automatically generating threat models, thereby streamlining the implementation of essential security policies.
