Analysis of patenting activity by companies shows that Honeywell International filed the most social responsibility patents within the technology industry in Q3 2024. The company filed 7 social responsibility-related patents in the quarter, compared with 5 in the previous quarter. It was followed by NIKE with 5 social responsibility patent filings, Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) (4 filings), and NEC (4 filings) in Q3 2024.
Patenting activity was driven by China with a 28% share of total patent filings
