Inspired Education Group, a global group of premium schools, announced on Thursday (June 20) that it was rolling out a new AI platform for teachers. The tool will enable teachers to plan and develop engaging lesson plans using AI. The company expects the tool to save teachers’ time by ten days annually.
The tool will free up time to allow teachers to focus more on one-to-one personalised learning time with students, the Inspired Education Group added.
The phased roll-out is an expansion of the company’s “Inspired AI” programme, backed by a multi-million-pound investment by the group.
Inspired Education Group’s new AI platform follows a UK government-commissioned report which found teachers estimate that they still work more than seven “unnecessary hours” a week on average.
The AI tool will enable teachers to create text and graphics-based PowerPoint content quickly and accurately.
The Inspired Education Group is also planning a future suite of AI tools, including automated marking and feedback for students’ weekly cycle tests.
