Japan-based company Nippon Telegraph and Telephone’s IT hiring rose 11.0% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.46% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 44.24% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 2.04% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nippon Telegraph and Telephone IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 65.38% in September 2021, and a 9.72% rise over August 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 18.52% in September 2021, and registered growth of 16.24%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.35% in September 2021, a 54.31% rise from August 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global technology IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 50.6% share, which marked a 30.65% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 42.14%, registering a 3.43% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 6.2% share and a 5.59% rise over August 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.57% and a month-on-month decline of 78.79%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.49%, registering a 33.33% rise over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s technology industry IT hiring activity with a 48.38% share in September 2021, a 28.88% growth over August 2021. US featured next with a 30.27% share, down 6.35% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 7.72% share, an increase of 37.23% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Nippon Telegraph and Telephone IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.8%, up by 12.44% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 25.17% share, a growth of 3.2% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.18% share, up 29.18% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.85%, recording a month-on-month increase of 80%.
