Glean Technologies, an American company which provides enterprise-grade artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, has entered the Indian market with the establishment of a new office in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The company plans to invest up to Rs4bn ($47.9m) over the next two years to support its growth in the region.
The Bengaluru facility, which spans approximately 26,000ft², will serve as a hub for a wide range of sales, finance, research and development (R&D), as well as other business operations.
Glean Technologies aims to significantly increase its local workforce, targeting a total of 450 employees at this Bengaluru centre.
The Economic Times quoted Glean Technologies founder and CEO Arvind Jain as saying: “This office will serve as a crucial hub for our global operations, driving a significant portion of our international projects. In fact, it will be our biggest investment outside of US. In India, currently we are working with around five to ten clients and hence we will need a lot of investments in terms of hiring and operations. We would certainly be investing between $10m-$50m in the next two years.”
Glean Technologies specialises in generative AI, which swiftly summarises internal documents and information, thereby enhancing workplace efficiency by reducing the need for manual data sorting.
