Europe was the fastest growing region for digital media hiring among tech industry companies in the three months ending June.
The number of roles in Europe made up 14.3% of total digital media jobs – up from 12.5% in the same quarter last year.
That was followed by Asia-Pacific, which saw a 1.1 year-on-year percentage point change in digital media roles.
The figures are compiled by GlobalData, who track the number of new job postings from key companies in various sectors over time. Using textual analysis, these job advertisements are then classified thematically.

The fastest growing country was the United Kingdom, which saw 4.2% of all digital media job adverts in the three months ending June 2021, increasing to 5.5% in the three months ending June this year.
That was followed by India (up 0.899999999999999 percentage points), Poland (0.5), and France (0.4).
The top country for digital media roles in the tech industry is the United States which saw 53.3% of all roles advertised in the three months ending June.
Which cities and locations are the biggest hubs for digital media workers in the tech industry?
Some 3.3% of all tech industry digital media roles were advertised in San Francisco (United States) in the three months ending June.
That was followed by Bengaluru (India) with 2.5%, London (United Kingdom) with 2.2%, and Chicago (United States) with 2.1%.
