US-based Align Technology, a medical device company specialising in the manufacture of 3D digital scanners and the design of Invisalign clear aligners, has expanded its presence in Israel.
The company has opened 14,140m2 offices in Petah Tikva, Israel, and will relocate employees from its current location in Or Yehuda. The new facility has the capacity to house 700 employees and comprises an advanced digital dental clinic, experience centre and training centre.

Align Technology has also opened a 2,000m2 production and logistics facility including supporting laboratories adjacent to its new office. The secondary investment will allow the company “to further its industry-leading digital capabilities through continued scanner innovation and solutions”, according to Yuval Shaked, senior vice-president of iTero systems and services business.
Rami Grinberg, the mayor of Petah Tikva, added: “Petah Tikva is proud to welcome Align Technology, a global company, to our state-of-the-art business park in the growing high-tech centre of Petah Tikva. We look forward to having Align join the many companies that have recently moved to our city to become part of our thriving community.”
Align Technology is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area and employs about 15,000 staff globally. The company has offices in Australia, China, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, including additional treatment planning centres in China and Japan and a manufacturing facility in China.
