By GlobalDataWhat will be announced today?
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will likely take centre stage today in Brooklyn. Tech fans are finally set to get some idea of what the handset will offer. Samsung hinted back in June that a new device in the high-end Galaxy Note line is due. However, they have offered little more than that since.
Likewise, leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Watch is on its way, with a second gen smartwatch expected to be announced today. Rumours suggest that Samsung will ditch the Gear brand and adopt the same brand name that it uses for its smartphone and tablet devices.
Samsung is also expected to unveil a number of new accessories for its Galaxy product range.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 specs: What to expect
According to reports and leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8gb of RAM, and storage options ranging from 64gb to 512gb.
The phone is expected to look pretty much the same as its predecessor, the Note 8. However, it is expected to pack a larger screen, coming in at 6.38in compared to the Note 8’s 6.32in offering.
The S-Pen stylus, the Note range’s signature feature, is expected to remain. But this time it will come with built-in Bluetooth support.
Leaked images suggest that the Galaxy Note 9 will be available in blue, copper, silver, violet and black colours.
When is the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 release date?
Samsung confirmed that the Note 9 will go on sale two weeks after the Unpacked event on Friday, 24 August.
What is the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 price?
Leaks suggest that the 128gb model will cost £899 in the United Kingdom, with the 512gb model costing £1,099. That would be an increase of £30 from the Note 8’s initial starting price, which was £869 for a SIM-free handset.
Is Samsung Galaxy Note 9 pre-order available yet?
Those interested in the Galaxy Note 9 aren’t currently able to pre-order the new handset. However, more information on pre-orders will undoubtedly be shared today.
