Trump meets Putin amid meddling scandal
President of the United States will meet Russian President of Russia Vladimir Putin in Hensinki today to discuss the state of relations between two of the world’s biggest nuclear powers.

The US and Russia have clashed over issues such as the war in Syria and North Korea since Trump took to the White House.
Likewise, there is also ongoing speculation that Russia meddled in the US election to hand Trump power. The meeting will come just days after the US Justice Department indicted a number of Russian intelligence operatives. It is unclear whether Trump will be willing to discuss this with his Russian counterpart, but he has stated that he is unsure whether the US can “get along with Russia”.
Putin and Trump are expected to arrive at the Helsinki Presidential Palace at around 11am London time ahead of the planned US-Russia summit.

The first batch of deals will be revealed at midday London time on Amazon.co.uk and at 8pm London time on Amazon.com.
Last year Amazon revealed that it had sold more on Amazon Prime Day than on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The retailer reported increased sales of 60% on 2016.
China to pressure Europe to turn on Trump
Members of the European Union have headed to Beijing ahead of the Sino-European summit, which will get underway today.
According to Reuters, China will use the opportunity to push for a strong joint statement with the European Union against US President Donald Trump’s aggressive trade policies.
Experts have warned that the ongoing trade war could cause serious global economic damage. However, the EU has rejected the suggestion of teaming up with China to denounce Trump.
The meeting comes after EU leaders, such as German chancellor Angela Merkel, clashed with Trump over foreign policy at last week’s NATO summit.
