Fine Arts Paris will take place from Wednesday 8th to Sunday 12th November 2017. The festival will exhibit art from multiple disciplines including drawing, painting and also sculpture. Collectors and art lovers alike will unite at the prestigious Palais Brongniart. This convention centre is, in many ways, the ideal place to host an art fair, famed for its own quintessentially Parisian architecture.
The organizers of Fine Arts Paris are the same group who run the well-regarded Salon Du Dessin – an event for art collectors which takes place yearly at the same venue.
What is on show at Fine Arts Paris?
The art on sale at Fine Arts Paris is drawn from a collection of 34 exhibitors. These span ‘museum quality’ works of art from major galleries, to ‘discoveries’ by newer dealers.
This means that there should be something for every budget on show at Fine Arts Paris. Works from artists including Boucher, Delacroix, Renoir, Bourdelle, and Zao Wou Ki will be on sale. There’s no specific theme to the kinds of art on sale, however visitors will see art from the 16th Century up to the present day.

By GlobalDataThe majority of the exhibitors are French, and of them, most are Parisian galleries. However, other stall-holders come from around the Western world. There are four from US and Switzerland, three Italian stalls, two each from Spain and the UK, and finally Germany and Belgium are represented at one stall each.
Among the notable offerings at the event is the marble Head of a Young Ephebe by Jean-Baptiste-Joseph Debay, which is expected to sell for over $140,000.

Of course, one needn’t necessarily be purchasing the art to enjoy the fair. Tickets to the fair cost €15 each, €7.50 for concessions (groups of more than 7 also qualify for the discount price), or free for under-18s. Tickets can be purchased here.
Safe to say, art enthusiasts and collectors should definitely consider making time in their schedules to visit. Maybe then they’ll be lucky enough to pick up a bargain.
